"A STRONG START TO THE WEEKEND"
Montreal - After his break in Monaco Nico Hulkenberg was back in the car in Free Practice I of the Canadian GP in Montreal on Friday. Driving on one of his favourite circuits the 23-year-old made it into the top ten once again.
"We have made a strong start to the weekend," Hulkenberg, with a personal best time of 1:17.549 minutes, said. Again, it was obvious that the Force India works especially well on high speed tracks.
Additionally, "The Hulk" had an extra set of tyres available, which made the testing day way more interesting. "It was great to have a second set of tyres - the medium compound - available today," he added. "Unfortunately I had to abort my fastest lap, otherwise a better lap time would have been possible."
The best time was set by Nico Rosberg (Mercedes/1:15.591) followed by Fernando Alonso (Ferrari/+0.548) and Michael Schumacher (Mercedes/+0.958).
