"The Hulk" tattoos Katjes logo

Emmerich - Nico Hulkenberg breaks the mould insofar as sponsor space is concerned. Due to a lack of space on the teamwear the Force India driver tattooed the logo of his sponsor Katjes on his forearm.

"This is an innovative way to offer attractive space to the sponsor," Hulkenberg said. "The space on the racesuit and on the team shirts belongs to the team - but I can decide about my forearm by myself."

"We are glad that Nico has offered us this attractive sponsoring space," Katjes' CEO Tobias Bachmüller commented. "It proves that both parties are interested in a long-term cooperation."

And if the sponsoring contract should expire one day, the tattoo will simply be removed again. "Seeing today's technology this does not mean a problem at all," Hulkenberg said. "And the costs for the laser therapy will be paid by Katjes pursuant to our contract."
